    Data on Equipment for Repair

    Data backed up.

Please ensure your data is backed up to an external backup source, via your operating system before sending your device to us for repair.

    Sensitive or Critical data.

If you have any Sensitive or Critical data that you may not want others to view, then the most secure solution could be to remove the data from the device. This can be done after a total backup of the device has been completed, followed by a Factory Restore of the device. The Factory Restore totally erases all user info and data. You will need to run setup restoring your info from the backup when you receive your repaired device.

    No Guarantee for data recovery.

Our repairs are always done in a professional manner, data loss can occur but is not intentional. It is impossible for us to retrieve any lost info or data if you do not have a full backup of your device. A rebuild on a new device would also require a full backup for the rebuild to proceed.

Removal of Pin Locks and Passwords

Pin Locks, passwords and Apple icloud accounts should be removed before you send your device to us. We do need to test the repaired device and may need to update your IOS to ensure the repair is completed correctly.
